SKRILLEX
Skrillex (Sonny John Moore) is an American producer of electronic music, (electro house, dubstep and brostep), in addition to being lead singer of the post-hardcore band From First to Last.
Moore was born on January 15, 1988, in Los Angeles (USA). He was raised by adoptive parents, grew up in San Francisco and returned to Los Angeles in 2001. He was hired at age 16 to be a vocalist in the band From First to Last, after leaving the band, Sonny was devoted to his solo career, and later as a producer of dubstep, with the nickname "Satan Radicall and Sex Kills," which would change Skrillex.
In November 2011, Skrillex was nominated for five Grammy Awards categories and won three: Best Remix of "Cinema" for Benny Benassi, Best Dance Recording for "Scary Monsters and NiceSprites" and Best Album.
