The art in XVIII

The style that predominated was the "Rococó".
This style had its origin in France and after, it expanded in Europe.
Its aesthetic reflected the elegance of the bourgeoisie and aristocracy,this style decorated a lot of palaces.

We can find differents parts:
"Ornamentación and intimismo"
The architecture "rococó" followed the esthetic models of the style Baroque.
The principal subject  was the decoration in the interiors with a profuse ornamentation with curves lines and  the asymmetry.

The sculpture , stood up because of the discovery of the  technique porcelain imported from Orient .This new technique was ideal for the interiors.

The aristocratic painting:
The painting reflected also in the elegance (Buggery and aristocracy). The cheerful colours were changed by other duller colours, gray,light green ... to represent the gallant places.
The use of the colours helped to create a new technique: the pastel.
The subject was different , it depended of the country. In France , the love subjects and the aristocratic celebrations.We can find some artists: J.A. Watteau,François Boucher and J.H. Fragonard.
In Italy, the artists painted urban landscapes(Canaletto) and the theatrical decoration (Tiépolo). 
In England, the countryside  and the portrait of the elegance(Gainsborough,Hogarth and Reynolds)

THE ART IN SPAIN.

In the XVIII century, the "Rococó" style , we found it in the interiors of the aristocratic palaces , it followed the french taste and the oriental motives.
The decoration instead of continuing the same way of the rest of Europe, they didn´t substitute the polychrome wood and the religious subjects, in figures and also in the scenes of Holy Week , a good example Salzillo and the masterpieces of Tomé.

 Spanish painting ,"rococó" reflected also the privileged people . (Paret and Alcázar).

The Second World War

The Second World War was a military global conflict that developed between 1939 and 1945.
In this war  fought most of the nations of the world, which were grouped in two big alliances: the allies and the powers of the axis.
It was the biggest clash of the History, with more than hundred million military men and a condition of total war in which the big powers spent in economy, military and scientific force to the service of the warlike effort, erasing the distinction between civil and military resources.
This war took terrible consequences as the massive death of civilians, the Holocaust and the use, for the first and only time, of nuclear weapon in a military conflict, the Second World war was the most deadly conflict in the history of the humanity, with a final result of between 50 and 70 million victims.
The Second World war began when alemania invaded Poland. The intention of Germany for creating an empire for the whole Europe gave step to the declaration of war on the part of France, the British Empire and the Commonwealth to the Third Reich.
In 1941 the European powers of the Axis began an invasion of the Soviet Union, initiating the most extensive operation of war of the History, in this moment there was used most of the military power of the Axis. In December, 1941 the Empire of the Japan, which had been in war with China since 1937 and was trying to expand his domains in Asia, attacked to The United States and to the European possessions in the Pacific Ocean, Obtaining in this way the most part of the region.
The advance of the Axis was stopped in 1942 after the defeat of Japan in several naval battles and of the European troops of the Axis in the North of Africa and in Stalingrado's decisive battle.
 The war in Europe ended with the capture of Berlin for Soviet and Polish troops and the consequent unconditional German surrender on 8 May 1945.
The Imperial Japanese Navy turned out to be defeated by the United States. After the atomic bombardment on Hiroshima and Nagasaki of the United States, the war in Asia ended on 15 August 1945 when Japan accepted the unconditional surrender.
The war finished with a total victory of the Allies on the Axis in 1945. 

 The United Nations Organization (UNO) was created after the war to promote the international cooperation and to anticipate future conflicts.
The Soviet Union and the United States rivals raised as superpowers, the scene being established for the Cold War, which extended for the following 46 years. 
The majority of the countries which industries had been damaged initiated the economic recovery, whereas the political integration, specially in Europe, emerged as an effort to establish the relations of postwar period.

A Spanish expedition, were in the amazonic jungle  looking for the legendary city of El Dorado, a place that all is made of gold. The guides of these people warned them that there were some unknown smelly beings who shouted a lot at night . The people of the expedition thought that their guides wanted to take the gold of the treasure before, and to be richer than they. Like all of the  humans beings, anyone wants to be poorer than the others, so they didn’t pay any attention to the guides’ warning.

After that, while the guides were camping  to spend the night, the explorers were talking about this theme.

-I think that’s a lie, our scientists have discovered all the animals and beings in the world and it is impossible that here we can find another unknown thing.

-Yes, I’m sure that  it’s a trick.

-I don’t think so, these people have lived here for many years, they know this place very well. We must  listen to them.

At the middle of the night, two explorers were out of the camp, they were looking for a river to have a bath and take some water to their canteens. Everything was going on well, until they started to hear an strange voice.

-Who’s crying? –Said one of them.    

                    

-Crying? I suppose that someone it’s screaming.

-…

Suddenly,   a unknown shade was slowly  walking to them.  It was moving like a zombie, maybe it was a zombie. The explorers thought that it was someone who was  drunk;  but,  when it started  to scream, the explorers were afraid of it and they ran to the camp.

At that moment, a lot of strange beings  appeared  from the trees.

One of the explorers  fall into the ground, and the other, went on running because he was scared and he didn’t notice what was happening  to his friend.

 Finally, all the expedition and the guides went away, they didn’t want to get the gold. They only  wanted to save their lives.

We don’ t really know anything about the lost explorer, but we have reasons to say that he is a new  “unknown being”.
