Pearl Harbor.

Pearl Harbor is an American war film, released in the summer of 2001 by Touchstone Pictures.
It was produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and Michael Bay. 
The three main characters are: 


Ben Affleck, who portrays Rafe McCawley :

Kate Beckinsale, who portrays Evelyn Johnson:










Rafe McCawley and Danny have been friends since they were children, both are American pilots who learned to fly in fumigation planes.
Rafe has a relationship with Evelyn Johnson, a beautiful and brave nurse who serves on the U.S Navy. But, their friendship ends when Danny and Evelyn fall in love believing that Rafe had died on a mission in England, the mission in which he had joined voluntarily without telling to his best friend (Danny). 
The story takes place in the Second World War, specifically when the U.S entered the war because of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor (Hawaii). 
 It's one of my favorite films because the story connects two episodes of the Second World War, such as the attack on Pearl Harbor and the first bombing of Japan, with a love story. 
In my opinion "Pearl Harbor" is also a very good film because it is very entertainig and you can learn a lot of things about the Second World War.
It is a film based on a true story but sometimes it's a bit surrealistic, they have made the story as they want you to see, for example, they want you to show all the time the Americans, the American flag, the American courage, the American man, the American woman, etc... This is the only aspect of the movie that I don't like very much, but the rest of the things, like their good special effects, make Pearl Harbor a great and sentimental film.
